Vine School of Ministry (VSM) is committed to the truth that God loves people, gave Himself for them, and has given His Church supernatural power to bring individuals and nations into wholeness. VSM’s mission is to equip and deploy revivalists who passionately pursue worldwide transformation in their God-given sphere of influence.
VSM's aim is to give students an intense immersion in a God-centered, Christ-exalting, Bible-saturated environment with church and life applications. We emphasize hands-on training and experience along with academic understanding. This creates a “teach and do” culture where students take risks to stretch their faith and grow in their understanding of God.
VSM is designed to be a 1-year program that begins a new class every six months with the emphasis on three main areas: developing the leader in you, growing in a deep, intimate, and meaningful relationship with Jesus and gaining knowledge and revelation in the Scripture..
Students will be equipped and challenged to take leadership roles within the church structure, lead lifegroups, and make disciples. They'll receive close mentorship in and outside classrooms.
RELATIONSHIP W/ JESUS
Student's character will be constantly tested and evaluated by their response in and outside classrooms and in relation to all other VSM activities.
Through intimacy with Jesus we expect to see students being transformed into His likeness
KNOWLEDGE & REVELATION
We invite students to dive into a deep, intimate relationship with Jesus and His Word. Students get to do this through their devotional times of prayer and meditation on the Word. They will learn how to hear and be lead by the Spirit of God.
IS VSM FOR ME?
VSM is not for the faint of heart or lazy. It is an extremely fast paced season of schooling, and you must be ready and willing to invest much time and energy to keep up. Besides normal school hours and teaching, students have daily assignments, weekly outreaches, and LifeGroup meetings.
VSM is also not for those who are looking for a place to rehab and it’s not a discipleship school for people who are coming out of a sinful lifestyle. There is too much freedom in our environment for those struggling with self-control.
TAKE A STEP TOWARD
WHAT YOU WERE MADE FORE
VSM will have many powerful guest speakers throughout the year but the primary teaching is accomplished through the leadership of this house and our staff members.
Students will be required to read the assigned book for each class, submit class notes, complete all homework, and pass a written test. Tests are graded from "A-F", but failure to submit any assignment will automatically result in a "F".
Bible reading plan and student's involvement and performance at the local church can also affect their grade.
Graduation means you have completed the academic, attendance, financial requirements and spiritual tasks for the year with honor. Only those who successfully complete First Year will be considered for the Second Year program.
The class is comprised of a cohort of 8-15 students who share their academic, church, and social lives, together. Students in the cohort study in close relationship with pastors who are as engaged in their spiritual growth as they are with their academic performance.
Students attending VSM should consider themselves full-time students carrying a full load of coursework.
